These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings and stays at Kawayan Villa Siargao ("the Villa"), located at Cloud 9 Drive, General Luna, Siargao Island, Philippines. By making a reservation, you ("the Guest") agree to be bound by these terms.
A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit and written confirmation from Kawayan Villa Siargao. We reserve the right to decline any reservation at our discretion. The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring all guests in the party are aware of and comply with these Terms and Conditions.
Bank transfer, GCash, PayMaya, and major credit cards (processing fees may apply). All payments must be received in full before or upon check-in.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers trip cancellation.
Kawayan Villa Siargao is an intimate, private retreat designed for couples, families and travellers seeking peace, comfort and a genuine connection with their surroundings. Our philosophy is one of serenity — quiet mornings by the pool, unhurried breakfasts, and the kind of stillness that Siargao does best. We are not a party venue, an event space, or a social hub. Guests who book with us do so because they value privacy, tranquillity and a home away from home. We ask all guests to honour this spirit throughout their stay, out of respect for the villa, the neighbours, and the experience of everyone who visits.
The following rules apply during your stay and are strictly enforced:
Any breach of these house rules — including but not limited to hosting outside visitors, organising parties, or disturbing the peace during quiet hours — will result in the immediate termination of the stay. Guests will be required to vacate the premises immediately with no refund of any amount paid, regardless of the remaining nights. In cases of serious violation, the management reserves the right to contact the local authorities. By making a reservation, all guests acknowledge and accept these terms without exception.
A refundable security deposit of ₱20,000 is required upon check-in. This deposit will be returned within 48 hours of check-out, less any deductions for damage, excessive cleaning, missing items, or rule violations. Guests are liable for the full cost of any damage exceeding the deposit amount.
Kawayan Villa Siargao and its owners shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage or expense suffered by guests or their property during their stay, except where caused by our direct negligence. Guests use all facilities including the pool, garden and outdoor areas at their own risk. We are not responsible for theft of personal belongings.
We shall not be held liable for failure to fulfil our obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, typhoons, government restrictions, power outages, or acts of God. In such cases, we will work with you in good faith to reschedule or offer a credit.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Surigao del Norte.
