Owner David Frachou, who has lived on the island since 2009, built the property with a French sensibility for comfort and a deep respect for the local tropical landscape.
The open-sky bathrooms — a direct architectural connection between the interior and the garden — were a deliberate design choice. Natural materials throughout: pebble stone, bamboo, and tropical hardwood create a sense of place that no hotel room can replicate. Every detail, from the linen thread count to the placement of each piece of furniture, was considered in relation to the Siargao light, the garden's airflow, and the rhythm of a guest's day.
